Thank you for visiting our site. The Wits University Accreditation Committee operates under the auspices of the University of the Witwatersrand and has been involved with CPD since its inception. 

The Wits Health Consortium CPD Office provides administrative support to the Accreditation Committee.  Applications are submitted to the CPD Office, processed and then forwarded to members of the Wits University Accreditation Committee for evaluation.

The Activities button provides an extensive list of accredited CPD activities available for practitioners to attend, and for your convenience these can be sorted by discipline.  Please note that this list of activities reflects activities which have been accredited by the Wits University Accreditation CPD Committee only, and is not a comprehensive list of all activities offered countrywide.

POINTS LOGGING

The Wits CPD Office will no longer log and process CPD points on behalf of Practitioners or Providers.  The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), requires Medical and Dental Practitioners to maintain their own CPD Points records and to produce these when called upon by the HPCSA for their CPD Points Compliance Audit.

CPD Providers are required to issue delegates with certificates for all CPD Activities under the new HPCSA Guidelines.
